New Twitter update lets users share tweets on Instagram Stories

How to Natively Share Tweets on Instagram Stories

There’s an easy, native way of sharing tweets to your Instagram stories.

“Skip the screenshot,” Twitter says in a tweet, referring to the old, clunky way users have had to endure. Now, there’s an official integration that lets you share tweets on Instagram.

Here’s how to do it.

  1. Tap the Share button.
  2. On the pop-up menu, find Instagram Stories, right below Copy URL.
  3. This will bring you to your Stories, where you can finally share your tweets.

Note that the tweets are imported as static images (for now), meaning they’re not linkable. It’s kind of the bare minimum, but it’s still an easier way of sharing tweets vs. taking screenshots.

Here’s a look into the feature (c/o The Verge).

The new update is exclusive to iOS users (for now) with currently no word regarding availability for Android users.
