Freshly unveiled off the presses, the new ecosystem—dubbed simply as Cherry—will offer a whole catalog of products, including anti-pandemic devices and pet-friendly IoT tech. “Our goal is to provide Filipinos with a diversified prepaid mobile service from data, call and text packages at affordable prices allowing them to be connected every day of the year,” shared Cherry CEO Maynard S. Ngu in a press release.
Along with, Cherry also posted a key visual, announcing a lineup of brands and services they own and offer.
This leaves them with a handful of brands/services, including:
- Cherry Mobile
- Cherry Prepaid
- Cherry Roam
- Cherry Home
- Cherry Pet
Perhaps most relevant these days is a brand-new Cherry product called Cherry Ion and Cherry Ion Lite, personal wearable air purifiers geared to help Filipinos settle into The New Normal. Here’s a quick look at the device in rose-gold color (also available in black-silver, black-gold, white-gold, and white-pink).
There’s also Cherry Roam, a pocket-friendly roaming device that works like Flytpack, but relatively more affordable. And there’s Cherry Pet Wi-Fi-powered feeder, because if you needed any indication that we’re indeed living in the (human-lazy) future, well, here it is.
