Metal Slug Code: J is here, a remake by Tencent and SNK

Metal Slug Code: J is well underway, the new Metal Slug mobile title from Tencent and SNK. The game is developed by TiMi studios, the makers of the much-debated MOBA game, Pokémon Unite.

Code J looks and feels like a direct update to the iconic ’96 run-and-gun classic. A flashy new trailer shows off some gameplay footage, which reimagines the characters in cartoonish 3D animation.

The game uses a similar gameplay mechanic to the iconic video game from the ’90s.

The gameplay is straightforward. You pick a character, shoot a bunch of hooligans, upgrade your weapons, fight bosses, and save the day.
