Just in time for such a pivotal time in humanity—where, like zombies, we waste away mindlessly against the backdrop of government corruption and greed—Valve’s beloved co-op zombie survival shooter, Left 4 Dead 2 gets a much-awaited expansion called “The Last Stand”.

The new DLC is heavily urged by mods developed by the rampant community that the game has cultivated over the years. 11 years after its original release in 2009, fans of the game are finally getting an official expansion, with new achievements, maps, weapons, dialogue, and more. There are also “twenty new Survival Arenas, four Scavenge Arenas and a Campaign based on The Lighthouse Survival map.”

The entire game is free-to-play this weekend, which gives players around 3 days. If you like it enough to purchase it, you get an eye-popping 80% discount for the DLC, which sets you back only $2.
